We are currently seeking an Video and Telecom Installation Technician to join our team.

Experience:
- Required: 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Exacq, Axis, Salient and Brivo systems including NVRs, Analog and IP Cameras, Access Control Hardware and Software, and other security equipment.
- Installation of panels, controllers, card readers, sensors, IP video cameras and head end equipment.
- Installing devices such as electronic locks, motion detectors a plus.
- Knowledge of Firewall rules and Antivirus, cloud-based security software a plus.
- Programming camera systems and components; testing and demonstrating/commissioning systems.
- Establishing installation plans and complete system installations on time.
- Install and check systems, documenting wiring and device changes on job and project drawings as required.
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts and bucket trucks to install and service devices.
- Working and coordinating directly with building contractors and customers.
- Develop and maintain good rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Problem solving skills in the field to keep project schedules on time.
- Report any unforeseen problems to the Project Manager and/or Salesperson to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Complete time sheets and other documentation on daily basis.
- Train helpers and other installers to ensure that they are following proper installation procedures and best practices.

Desired Certifications:
- Must have: RI Telecommunications System Technician License.
- Preferred: MA & CT Telecom License.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two-year technical degree is a plus.
- Door control systems helpful.
- Ability to read and understand building layouts, pictures, and hardware placement diagrams.
- Wire running experience is required.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to undergo a Background check.
