That doesn’t mean it needs to smell like lavender or vanilla, but it definitely needs to smell good and not like mold or anything else negative. A good carpet and wall cleaning can do the trick, or you can invite your employees to bring their own smells to the workplace.
Don’t Shy Away from Talking
There’s no way you’re ever going to have at-ease, productive employees if you aren’t open with them. The more open you are with them, the more likely it is that they’ll feel comfortable while they’re working. You owe your employees your time and your attention. Make sure they get it when they request it.
